The building up and re-machining of worn shafts and the reclaiming of oversize bores by building up with weld or sleeving using liquid nitrogen to shrink fit, then re-machining to original size and tolerance, are common procedures in our workshops. Our engineers can advise on the best course of action for your particular repair.
